Durante todo un año disfrutamos de lo mejor y peor –por qué no– del cine a nivel mundial: estrenos adelantados, unos cuantos atrasados; enormes éxitos taquilleros y unos que se quedaron en las sombras; películas de superhéroes, de terror, comedias, dramas de verdad; filmes en español, ruso, sueco, mandarín, inglés, francés, árabe; historias sobre el primer amor y el amor a sí mismo, romances de fantasía, racismo, historia, guerra, adolescencia y la vida misma; las mejores actuaciones y unas que dejaron mucho qué desear… en fin, un año de cine muy variado en toda a extensión de palabra.
¿Y para qué tanto embrollo? Para llegar a la noche más importante de la industria en la que se celebra única y exclusivamente las mejores producciones del año: los premios de la Academia en su edición número 90.
