¿Alguna vez les ha pasado que se encuentran a alguna persona en la calle, te saludan amablemente y no tienes ni la más remota idea de quién es? Algo así podría ser lo que me ocurrió con “Wish I Knew You” de The Revivalists, una canción que se editó hace más de un año, que en su momento no pegó, pero que un año después regresó de la nada para convertirse en una de las canciones más populares del verano estadounidense.
Tal vez sea esa clase de arrepentimiento la que también se plasma en el coro de la canción: “hubiese querido conocerte cuando más joven”, pero como dicen por ahí, el hubiera no existe y al final del día es lo que es, y hay lo que hay.
