Siguiendo los pasos de The Prodigy, Refused o At The Drive In, Enter Shikari se ha encargado de dignificar al progresivo, experimentando con el post hardcore y a momentos, podría decirse que hasta inventando el género que algunos llaman “electronicore”.
Personalmente, eran una de mis bandas favoritas de screamo, aunque su constante evolución, me ha llevado a creer, que realmente son dificiles de encasillar.
Con casi 20 años como banda, Enter Shikari se prepara para lanzar su quinto disco, titulado ‘The Spark’, el cual explican es “como un nuevo comienzo, algo que puede ser insignificante pero que a la postre, puede tomar mucho sentido, y que cuando todo parece que se está cayendo, es esa esperanza que te puede sacar de la oscuridad”…. ¡Merol!
Pero si esperaban escuchar algo pesado, la verdad es que Live Outisde es precisamente uno de los motivos por lo que me parece difícil de encasillar a Enter Shikari, que si somos honestos, a momentos podría sonar a Everything Everything o The Editors…… ¿no me creen?
